8th Graders have started Dance Class!!

     We have started to learn the elements of dance and we'll start dancing Friday.  Friday the entire class period will be devoted to learning a country line dance.   Wednesday during club time the remaining students and I practiced the "Boot Scootin Boogie" and had a good time.  Next week will be my last week with this group of students.  We will have a movie and party day on Thursday and Friday to celebrate our dancing experience. Dance and Drama

For the next 7 days the music and art classes will be studying dance and drama.
8th graders will study dance we will end the week by learning a few steps of salsa and a country line dance. 
7th graders will study drama we will end this week by acting out a few scenes from a play.

7th Grade Math Test

Wednesday we will finish the Chapter 1 Math Test.  Today the seventh grade was MAP Testing.  Students make sure you are studying Page 67 odds that we went over last week.  Those are the types of problems and concepts you will be tested over.

Animal Brochure and Food Web

During our ecology unit we will be designing an animal brochure and food web.  Students were given packets explaining the project and a scoring guide.  Our first day working in the computer lab was Friday, September 2, 2011.  We will definitely have 3 possibly 4 more days in the computer lab to complete this project.  If more time is needed, students may stay after school on Wednesdays.
